Section 1. The Musics by EO
Prologue by Houzan Suzuki
Among the creations left by Mr. EO, there are many music pieces composed or played by him, other than books and manuscripts.
Since he wasn't a professional musician, it seems that he was writing these pieces for his "personal interests."
Nevertheless, I think some of them possess professional quality.
These musics have been stored in Mumyouan for many years until recently, when strong requests from readers brought them up, and now these tapes are produced in this form.
One CD contains pieces created before Mr. EO's mystical enlightenment on February 17th, 1992. And pieces created after that event are collected in another disc. This is quite unique and surely very rare type of musical anthology.
Also, Disc A (or No.1) is done solely with digital synthesizer, while Disc B (or No.2) is done with Analogue synthesizer. That makes listening and enjoying each of these two discs farther distinctive.
In both, 40 musical pieces are collected. All titles are named by Mr. EO.
About the sound quality
These Compact discs are mastered from cassette tapes. In Disc A, Mr. EO made master tape directly from digital synthesizer, while in Disc B, he dubbed different tracks several times. So, you may hear slight noise and distortion from the aged master tapes. Disc A: The age of Digital Sound
Musics of after the mystical experience @ 1992 - 1994
All the pieces in this disc were created after the mystical experience of Satori. It has wide variety of tranquil and smooth pieces, quick songs, lovely one, and musics with mystical touch. Disc B: The age of Analogue Sound
Musics of before the mystical experience @ 1987 - 1991
All of them were composed before the mystical experience.Enjoy the sound of analogue synthesizer of 70 and 80's.
Although there are contemporary analogue synthesizers with MIDI interface, this album offers rich and fulfilling sound typical to old analogue synthesizers disappeared from the market, now.
Some pieces have "pop" taste. But vast majority of musics are in an experimental nature, using techniques such as sound-collage, or having a hint of sober German techno sound proper to that age.
It was a popular style of experimental music to repeat a simple melody over the cycling dubbed sound of analogue synthesizer.
Most of the pieces are somewhat "visual" and "musical landscape painting" in their nature that they give peculiar stimulation of distinct "sonic world," bypassing human emotions.

As Mr.EO used and arranged the music from an album of Tangerine Dream more than basic copyright allows, we asked the permission by sending demo-tape.In return, the use and arrangement of the musics from Tangerine Dream in this form are granted by TDI music inc. (Berlin).

It feels as if we are breathing and enjoying the starlight of totally clear night.

2/ DOLLS'PICNIC (2:27)
This lovely piece portraits toy dolls going out for a picnic.
3/ WINK OF SNOWMAN (3:36)
Although resembling to a Christmas song, it is "Pop" and yet classical.
4/ SIGNATURE ON THE WATER (4:37)
"Signature on the water," it is an irreproducible art (Tao) of a moment.

5/ THE FUGITIVE (2:52)
It has an air of suspense. Complex mixture of sound and irregular beat drum patterns are heard. With the middle-eastern tune, it is a mysterious and dramatic piece.
6/ FADING VISION (5:04)
From [ MOON CHILD ] - by ASTEN - and
[ RICOCHET/PART2 ] [ TANGRAMSET ] - by TANGERINE DREAM -
With an oriental flavor, it fuses three original musics into one.
The introduction is like a lullaby. Then it develops as if we are turning pages of fairy tale.
7/ LOGOS PART-1 (5:26)
An Arrangement of [ LOGOS PART1 ] - by TANGERINE DREAM -
Mr.EO, who loved 70's and 80's sound of German techo synthesizer group - "Tangerine Dream" - (they are still active), arranged this piece.
Solemn sound of original music is beautifully reconstructed.
8/ REUNION (3:51)
From [ TWO BUNCH PALMS ][ CLOUDBURST FLIGHT ] - by TANGERINE DREAM -
As the previous piece, parts of original music are arranged in a dramatic medley.
Lovers of Tangerine Dream would be delighted.

9/ UNDERGROUND ACTIVITIES (2:18)
Variation on [ TRANS-EUROPA EXPRESS ] - by KRAFTWERK -
A phrase of Trans-Europa Express (a representative piece of German synthesizer band, "KRAFTWERK") is reborn in a song with full of beat.
10/ RAIN OVER THE CANYON (1:35)
An elegant music that gives a clear image of a passing rain over the great canyon.
11/ NIGHT BREEZE (3:10)
Somewhat like an ending music of a movie, a little melancholic, its lucid and transparent sound suggests a voyager sleeping in the night breeze.
12/ HANG GLIDER (2:48)
Listening to this rhythmical music, we could see a hang-glider soaring over a seaside hill.
13/ BALL IN THE CEMETERY (4:50)
Ghosts are holding a ball in the cemetery. It is a little horrific, yet full of energy.
A part of music of Goblin used in a movie "Susperia" is mixed with the particular atmosphere of this piece.
14/ YANTRA OF DARKNESS (5:26)
The morphing beat of this piece is repeated like a mantra in the darkness.
It echoes as though a magical spell of pentagon burned onto the bottom of consciousness.
15/ BOTTOM OF THE SEA (4:32)
Just like scenery of deep ocean floor, it has a strong effect for inducing sleep.
16/ PREDATOR (7:01)
We hear the heart beat of a play, chased and caught by a predator, and finally on the verge of its death.
17/ IMPROVISATIONAL DANCE (3:25)
You may spontaneously start moving yourself to express this music by improvisational dance. The solo piano successively develops different themes. It has a unique style in this album.
18/ CAT ROAD (2:12)
This is a remake of the same title contained in Disc B, using a digital synthesizer.
You will see a different kind of cat in this version.
19/ TOY SPACE SHIP (2:17)
The last piece of this disc is truly lovely music. Mr.EO made a lot of enchanting and fairy music. As if he was painting by sound a fairyland, where dolls are departing the earth in a "retro" toy spaceship, it is a fantastic piece.

1/ GEOMETRIC DANCER (4:53)
A study for contemporary dance music taking "Eneagram" of Gurdjieff as a theme.
On the memo written by Mr.EO, there was a note of "142857" as a subtitle.
Listening to monotonous repetition of mystical rhythm, avant-garde dancers would appear in our mind.
2/ CAT ROAD (2:41)
It is a portrait of a cat walking on the back street. She seems to be rather lazily relaxed, while a little bemused, and somewhat acting as if asking a favor. Cute little piece.
3/ PURPLE DAWN (4:44)
Ever endlessly, slowly revealing itself, the purple sky of the dawn quietly gathers and unfolds series of clouds.
4/ THE WIND CLOCK (5:33)
What is a "Wind Clock" that is driven by wind ?
5/ WITCH-HUNTING (2:05)
Solemn and vision invoking, it could easily be a "Back Ground Music" for a horror movie.
An image of Witch-hunting people who are running through forest may be imagined.
6/ TIME-RING (2:38)
The luminous ring of "the fate" sparkles and cycles like a merry-go-round.

I imagine being afloat in the space near the Sirius, or immersing myself in the cool highland air while gazing away misty mountain ranges.

8/ RAIN ON THE RUINS (2:33)
Twinkling particles of rain can be seen over the Stonehenge under cloudy sky.
Far away from the ruins, we may see faint light of fair weather over the horizon.
9/ UNKNOWN FOREST (1:52)
This fantastic music has a sound effect that seems like fairies dressed with bluish moonlight or aliens just about coming out from the depth of quiet forest yet unknown to us.
10/ STEP TO THE RAINBOW (2:30)
Do you see an image of the sunlight bounced randomly in the mist, or majestic ancient temple standing on the holly land?
11/ COSMIC LOCK MEMORY (3:52)
This sound of somewhat "triste" nature gives an impression of looking at someone's inner-mind who has a memory of confinement.
12/ OCEAN WEATHER SHIP (3:15)
It gives the feeling of watching the flowing world from a fixed observation ship.
13/ THE LONE WOLF (2:12)
Sharp and vigorous tone of keyboard suggests a lone-wolf in a city.
14/ FLIGHT IN HAZE (2:19)
In the mood of good old German synthesizer techno-disco sound of 80's, simple oriental melody gives pleasant flying sensation.

15/ ORIGIN OF ORGANISM (3:59)
In the early days of planetary ocean, primitive organisms are moving around.
16/ OVER EXPOSURE (2:22)
The metallic sound, that may hit directly the brain, is projecting images in a white light.
17/ DIMENSIONAL SLIDE (4:12)
It is a tripping sound that may well sketched a trans-dimensional travel of consciousness.

18/ BOG OF DEMONS=THE EARTH (5:57)
Resembling to music in the sound track of a horror movie, it is an experimental music employing abundant sound-collages. Among the sound of synthesizer, traffic noise, human voice, and footsteps are mixed in this sound essay (study).
19/ SPACE-TIME SCOPE (6:23)
Numerous spheres (ROTE) that store the memories of universe are reflected on the mirror of space-time continuum.
20/ DETACHING SPIRIT (2:44)
This piece has a sound effect as if suggesting the process of a spirit detaching from its body.
21/ PSYCHOSIS=Forbidden Peace (3:57)
[ Electric Guitar by ASTEN ]
The only piece with a guest musician playing the guitar.
Using Bach's masterpiece, it portraits the world seen by a person with psychosis.
It gives the feeling of deep sorrow and also "Forbidden Peace."

It was the mixing skill of Mr. EO that surprised me the most during the editing process.
I was spending a lot of time monitoring his sound with a headset.
Then, it became clear that each and every piece was carefully arranged for the sound balance and varieties of effector units were employed.
Because you will notice the sensitive finishing touch of sound making everywhere in this album by listening to this CD with a headset, I strongly recommend you to use a fully enclosed headset.
Some pieces will give away its sound sceneries and brain stimulating meditational sound effects only if they are listened with a headset.
Basically, Mr. EO's sounds are not really "Healing sound" or "Environmental music" of new-age trend.
Rather, they offer the experience of stimulative sound and unique irregular rhythm even in the "pop" taste pieces.
Especially in the horror-movie like pieces and SFX like sound effects, I felt the traces of "experiment for altering consciousness," that was the core of Mr. EO's sound making.
I believe these facts bring this whole album, beyond the category of "sound portrait that goes well with images," to something that induce new experiences.
Also, I could not imagine that these sounds were born out of the "daily consciousness" in any way.
Probably it's not just me who felt "the reality of different dimensions," in phases far away from the daily consciousness, in the sounds of Mr. EO.
Section 2. Geometrical figures by EO
After the page 14, it is the collection geometrical figures.These are metaphysical figures said to be used by Master EO before his mystical experience for his own experiments of consciousness and contacting with different dimensions.
The original figures are painted by Master EO by hand, no computer graphics, using the inks and tools for technical designers.
(They are about original size)
It seems that they are esoteric material even in the cosmic dimensions, and there were no description of their effects as a talisman or for other purposes.
Only their names were found.
Please enjoy them as a geometrical art, or a source of inspiration for your creativity.
Some of these figures are used as a cover art of Master EO's books.
